École de surf Plums

Plums is a surf school on Biarritz's Grande Plage, based on rue Gardères. The website traces its history back to 1974 and André Plumcoq, one of the first "tontons surfeurs" at the Côte des Basques in the early 1960s, who opened one of the first surf shops in the town centre, on place Clemenceau.

His sons Marc and Christian, multiple French and European champions, carried on the passion. The school offers surf lessons suited to every level, with an emphasis on safety, as well as equipment rental.
