Energy Surf School into Yoga

Energy Surf School into Yoga is a small surf school in Messanges, between Messanges, Azur and Moliets, combining surfing with yoga, pilates and SUP yoga. Lessons take place on the central beach of Messanges Nord, in the heart of the Landes forest, and the meeting point is the Sémaphore car park, container no. 11.

Teaching is provided by a state-qualified instructor, described as multi-disciplinary in sports for over 20 years, whose teaching draws on the Montessori approach. The school also teaches knowledge of the ocean environment (currents, rip channels, swell formation). Group and private lessons are open to all levels, equipment and insurance included.

Groups are limited to 8 people for adults and teens, and 6 for children aged 7 to 10. Each surf session is preceded by a 30-minute yoga warm-up. In July and August, surf and yoga or surf and pilates packages are offered (minimum 3 people, by reservation), with yoga classes in the forest, by the ocean or indoors in Moliets.

The school is open from April to October; the Landes tourist office lists a 2026 season from mid-April to the end of September. Gift vouchers are available.
