The Abu Dhabi branch of Ocean Tribe, the first kitesurf school to open in the UAE (2001, according to its website), teaches at Kite Beach on Yas Island. It can be reached by phone through Kuba.
The program covers kitesurfing, wingfoiling, kitefoiling and kitesurfing for kids from age 8. A lesson usually lasts two hours and you only pay for the time actually taught: if there is not enough wind, it is not charged.
The school also offers gear rental for independent riders, trips across the UAE and Oman, and an online shop with F-One and Manera gear.
