Airlift Kiteboarding is a kitesurf school teaching at Isla Blanca, north of Cancún, in shallow water on a quiet, unspoilt beach. The school offers level 1, 2 and 3 lessons with certified instructors, for beginners and for riders who want to sharpen their technique.
Lessons can be taken alone or with a second student per instructor, in 3, 4, 9 or 12-hour packages. According to the school, it takes 9 to 12 hours on average to learn to ride. Independent riders can also rent gear, provided they can launch and land a kite, know the safety systems and can ride upwind.
