École de surf La Vigie

The La Vigie surf school (La Vigie Maison du Surf) is on the seafront at Biscarrosse Plage, at 788 boulevard des Sables, since 1995 according to its main page. Its website shows a 2026 copyright and it is open year-round, every day from 9am to 8pm.

It offers surf and bodyboard lessons for all levels, from initiation to improvement, with personalised coaching and video analysis, as private or group lessons, from age 6 (groups of 6 children, maximum 8 students per instructor for older ones). Formulas include a 3- or 5-lesson course, a 10-session card and a discovery lesson, with equipment and wetsuits provided. It welcomes groups, holiday camps and works councils.

The surf shop, open all year, has over 100 boards in stock, a Volcom corner, wetsuits and accessories, with board testing and board and bodyboard rental. Instructors hold the state diploma and are regularly trained in first aid. The school holds the French Surf School and Qualité Tourisme labels.
