Cabarete Kiteboarding Club

Cabarete Kiteboarding Club is a kitesurf and wing foil school in Cabarete, on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Founded by Matteo Gatti, the club combines a school, a beach shop and a travel agency that arranges stays and excursions.

Kite lessons are taught by IKO instructors, and students can gain their IKO certification on site. They range from a one-hour discovery session (wind theory, safety, first feel of the kite) to multi-hour courses, private, in pairs or in small groups. The club also teaches wing foiling.

RRD gear can be rented from the beach shop: kites, twin-tips, surfboards and wings. The club also runs surf lessons for up to three students, transport included, on one of the best reef breaks on the north coast.
