Galápagos Bike & Surf

Galápagos Bike & Surf is a tour and water-sports business in Puerto Villamil, on Isabela Island in the Galápagos. The project started in 2000, with the idea of letting visitors explore the island's most remote spots.

The team teaches surfing and stand up paddle. Surf lessons are given by ISA-certified instructors on a sandy beach with no rocks, about 5 minutes from town by car. The price includes transport, instruction in and out of the water, a surfboard, a wetsuit (neoprene or lycra), a towel, a snack and photos of the session. A class opens from 2 people; below that it counts as a private lesson.

It also rents equipment: surfboards (longboards and shortboards in different sizes), stand up paddle boards, bodyboards, snorkel gear, wetsuits and bikes. Day tours around the island are also available.
