School Presentation

Jeneponto Kitesurfing is a kitesurf school and camp on the south coast of Sulawesi, at Mallasoro (Bangkala, Jeneponto regency), about 80 km from Makassar airport and roughly three hours by private transfer.

The spot is a flat, shallow lagoon about 2 km long, with a steady south-east trade wind from May to October. The website reports an average of more than 20 knots in season, with gusts above 35 knots from July to September, and over 80% of days suitable for kiting. It suits beginners and advanced riders alike.

The school offers private and group lessons at all levels and rents F-One gear (the 8 m Bandit kite is the most used). The centre sits next to Batikite Resort on the beach: twelve bungalows, a restaurant, a lounge and a pool overlooking the spot. A second property, Salmira Beach Resort, is 500 m away.
