A Glassy Day Surf Coaching is a surf school in Geraldton, in Western Australia's Midwest region. It was founded in 2015 by Shaun Glass, a local surfer who wants to encourage girls and women to take on the ocean in a safe, fun and non-threatening environment; boys and men are equally welcome.
The school offers 1.5-hour beginner group lessons, single or in a series of three, Saturday and Sunday sessions for kids aged 5 to 18, and private lessons. All equipment is supplied: soft-top boards, wetsuits and sunscreen. It has built a community of hundreds of people around its sessions.
