North Stradbroke Island Surf School

North Stradbroke Island Surf School teaches surfing at Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island, off Brisbane. The meeting point is the Cylinder Beach car park, at the entrance to the campground. Equipment is supplied: learner boards, rash vests and wetsuits if needed.

The team includes coaches who have been teaching on the island since 1987, all accredited Level 1 and Level 2 coaches with Surfing Australia. The program includes private lessons (up to three students per coach), 1.5-hour group lessons (2 to 16 surfers), school, university and corporate events, and the intensive Woolworths SurfGroms program for kids.
