APEX Watersports Co.

APEX Watersports Co. is a kitesurfing school based in Applecross on the Swan River in Perth. It is accredited by Kiteboarding Australia (KA) and the IKO, and all its instructors are certified by one or both.

Lessons follow a step-by-step programme with radio helmets, videos and safety gear (impact vests, helmets and sun-protective clothing). The school teaches kitesurfing, kite foiling, wing foiling, tow foiling and wakeboarding, and also runs travel trips, including to the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Lessons take place at spots chosen for safety, with flat, waist-deep water: the Melville Beach foreshore, the Point Walter sandbar and the Cocos Islands lagoon. The team also helps students choose their gear.
