Kirra Point Surf School

Kirra Point Surf School teaches surfing at Kirra in Coolangatta, at the southern end of the Gold Coast. The meeting point is the school's van, parked in the Roughton Park car park across from 15 Marine Parade, where students sign in and collect their equipment before heading into the water.

The school offers group and private lessons for all ages and levels, advanced coaching (at other beaches such as Tallebudgera or Duranbah) and two multi-week programs: Salty Groms for kids (4 to 8 weeks) and Salty Kooks for adults. Gift vouchers are available.

The Kirra Pavilion sits directly in front of where lessons take place, so parents can watch from the terrace.

School van: every day from 6 am to 5 pm. Office: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
