Quest Adventure Sports Academy

Quest Adventure Sports Academy is a watersports school in Tamil Nadu, on India's south-east coast, near Rameswaram island in the Palk Strait. It teaches kitesurfing and windsurfing, as well as scuba diving, snorkelling, kayaking, stand-up paddling and sailing.

For kitesurfing, the school reports steady winds of 18 to 25 knots from April to September, and afternoon winds of 10 to 15 knots from December to March. The first level, Discover Kitesurfing, is four hours of lessons over one day, starting with a two-line trainer kite before moving to a four-line kite.

The school is affiliated with several bodies including IKO, PADI and ISA. Guests can stay on site at Kathadi North in cottages, a mixed dorm or camping tents, close to the Palk Bay and the Gulf of Mannar.
