Girls On Board Phillip Island

Girls On Board is a surf school at Smiths Beach on Phillip Island, started fourteen years ago from the idea of a place where women could belong and learn to surf without judgement. It has grown into a community built around surfing, more than just a school.

It runs women's surf programs, kids' programs, public lessons and private lessons, with men welcome at public lessons. It also offers surf guiding for confident surfers who want to discover other breaks on the island, plus events, retreats and surf trips.

Public lessons run through summer and peak periods, on soft boards.
