Khareef Kiteboarding

Khareef Kiteboarding is a licensed kitesurfing school based in Muscat, Oman. Its name comes from the khareef, the summer monsoon that brings the trade winds from May to September. It was founded by Paris Hooper-Kay, an IKO instructor with nearly 20 years of experience, and Johanna Mueller, who grew up in Oman.

The school teaches all year, from beginner to advanced, for adults and for children from 25 kg, with all equipment included. From October to April it teaches at Azaiba (Muscat), Quriyat and Ras Al Hadd; from May to September it is based at Bar Al Hikman. It also rents and sells gear, repairs kites and offers stand up paddle lessons.

Every day, 7am to 6pm.
