Escape Eco Adventures is a kitesurfing school started in Nelson Bay (Port Stephens) by two friends, Yann and Jordan, who learned and taught in Byron Bay before moving back to the area in 2020. Lessons take place in Nelson Bay and around Newcastle.
The school teaches kitesurfing, wing foiling and boat-towed hydrofoiling, plus wakeboarding. You can book a group introduction, private lessons, multi-lesson packages or a gift voucher. Kite gear is supplied and wetsuit rental is available.
It also runs kitesurfing trips abroad (Indonesia, Fiji, Sri Lanka) and donates part of every lesson to local tree planting and ocean clean-ups.
