Kite Zone Dubai is a kitesurfing and wing foil school based at Kite Beach in Umm Suqeim, Dubai. It was founded by Lewis Deaves, a former British Kite Surfing Association competitor who has taught and managed schools in the UK, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Sardinia, Australia and Cape Town.
The school offers private and group lessons, from the first session with a trainer kite through to riding independently. Equipment is included in the lesson price and a helmet is required in the water when using an inflatable kite. It also teaches stand up paddle and sells gear through its online shop.
The spot is a bay with warm, flat water and steady westerly and northerly winds in the early afternoon.
