Issambres Kite School

Issambres Kite School (IKS) is a kitesurfing, wing foil and electric foil school based in Les Issambres, in the municipality of Roquebrune-sur-Argens. It was created by Stéphane, who opened his own school in May 2023 and welcomes students all year round.

Stéphane is the lead instructor. He has held the BEJEPS diploma since 2020, previously worked in Ariane Imbert's school and coaches young riders from the Pôle Espoir. In competition, he finished 2nd in the Master kite-foil category of the Engie Kite Tour in Cannes in November 2022 and 3rd in the Master category at the French kite-foil championships in Leucate in October 2023.

The school favours private or semi-private lessons, with tailor-made group lessons as well, for beginners and for progression. The website presents kitesurfing, wing foil and electric foil (Lift Foil motor, remote-controlled), with a possible outing in the bay of Saint-Tropez.

The base is at the port of San Peire, opposite the Spar supermarket. Depending on the wind, lessons take place in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the Canoubiers bay or at Pointe des Sardinaux in Sainte-Maxime. A 140 hp RIB carries students and instructor to the spots. Booking is compulsory.
