School Presentation

Kitesurf Roatan is a kitesurf school that has operated since 2012 on Camp Bay Beach, on the east end of Roatán island, Honduras. It is run by Marilou and Chris, a Canadian and a European kiter, and sits at the island's main kite spot, between the long beach and the Mesoamerican barrier reef.

Lessons are given in English, French, Spanish and German, private or shared, starting on four-line kites. The school offers a two-hour intro, half-day and full-day lessons (with boat transfers to other spots, including St. Helene island) and a ten-hour course. Wingfoil lessons are also on the program. Beach and boat rescue are provided.

Rental gear is from Core Kiteboarding, with surfboards and foilboards also available. The school runs boat trips to the best spots of the Bay Islands and is linked to Camp Bay Lodge, a 13-room hotel right in front of the spot.
