Surf the Jungle

Surf the Jungle is a surf school in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, on Costa Rica's southern Caribbean coast. It is run by Misael, a local surfer who has competed at regional and national level, and his partner Patri.

Lessons suit all levels, from beginners to experienced surfers aiming for the Salsa Brava wave, as private or group sessions, for couples or events. The team includes certified lifeguards and professional instructors.

The school also runs a seven-day surf camp combining surf lessons, yoga and jungle adventure, surf photo sessions with a professional photographer, jungle tours in Caribe Sur and massages.
