Anguilla Watersports is a kitesurfing and stand-up paddle school on the island of Anguilla, presenting itself as the island's only kiteboarding academy. It also runs guided paddleboard and glass-bottom kayak tours and rents equipment.
Kitesurf lessons follow a step-by-step plan: setting up and flying the kite on the sand, relaunch and body dragging in the water, then water starts, short runs on the board, riding upwind and tricks, through to guided downwinders. The lesson beach is confirmed the day before to suit the forecast. Most people need 8 to 10 hours for a first solo ride.
