School Presentation
Kite Provo, operated by Watersports TCI, is the kiteboarding school of Providenciales. It has taught watersports since 2006 on Long Bay Beach, between The Shore Club and Swaying Palms, in shallow turquoise water that stays knee to waist deep for miles.
Kitesurf lessons are given in groups (maximum three students per instructor), in pairs or privately, with 10 or 15 hour packages. Jet ski support saves time and keeps students safe. Advanced lessons, scheduled at high tide, cover transitions, jumps, strapless surfboard and hydrofoil. The school also teaches wingboarding and wing foiling.
Rentals include Cabrinha and North kites and bars, wings, wing boards (foil and SUP), twintips, surfboards and Armstrong carbon foil boards. Renting a kite requires being an independent kiteboarder and passing a skills check with an instructor. Kite Provo also offers paddle board and kayak rentals and a turtle tour.
