Wind Nomads Kitesurfing School

Wind Nomads is a kitesurf school at Isla Blanca, a small peninsula north of Cancún, a little over an hour from the airport and about 30 minutes from downtown. Turquoise Caribbean water lies on one side and a flat, shallow lagoon on the other, which makes it a well-known place to learn.

The IKO-affiliated team has more than ten years of teaching experience around the world. Lessons are private or in small groups of two students at most, and the school issues an IKO certification at the end of the course. It suggests three hours a day for three days for the full beginner course, and also rents complete gear to independent riders.
