Kiteworld Las Terrenas

Kiteworld is a kitesurfing and wing foil school that has operated in Las Terrenas, on the Samana peninsula, since 2013. Its meeting point is on 27 de Febrero street, inside the Afreeka Hostel.

It teaches kitesurfing to beginners, kids and advanced riders, plus wing foil, and rents gear. A minimum of three hours is needed to start, and a six-hour package over three days is recommended.

The best period runs from December to mid-September, with a thermal breeze that usually starts around 1pm. The school also offers excursions (waterfall, Los Haitises National Park, whale watching) and private transfers.
