Strong Kiteboarding Baja

Strong Kiteboarding Baja is a kitesurf and wing foil school on the quieter northern beach of La Ventana Bay, in Baja California Sur. The team has been teaching kiteboarding, wing foiling, parawinging and foiling in the bay for more than ten years; founder Marty has been teaching there since late 2012.

The school specialises in private, watercraft-assisted lessons: once theory and kite or wing handling are covered on the beach, the IKO-certified instructor stays beside the student on a jet ski, within earshot, for immediate feedback.

Lessons start in November, as soon as the north winds arrive, and run until April. The water is warm and the thermal wind mostly blows between 15 and 25 knots.
