École de Surf de Guadeloupe (ESG) gives lessons and rents boards at the Le Helleux spot in Sainte-Anne, seven days a week from 8 am to 6 pm. It also runs kayak or paddle trips in the Anse à la Barque mangrove reserve.
Group or private lessons range from first-timers to experienced surfers; instructors are state-certified, with no more than five students per instructor. Gift cards are available.
