iKite Canada

iKite Canada is a kiteboarding club and school based in Toronto. Its IKO certified instructors teach kitesurfing and snowkiting across Ontario, on Lakes Ontario, Huron and Erie as well as Lake Simcoe. The lesson location depends on the weather and wind direction: the school picks the best site close to the student.

The full course is three lessons of about three hours: introduction (trainer kite, inflatable kite, body dragging), shallow water training, then deep water training to become independent. All gear is provided except the wetsuit.

iKite Canada also runs an online gear shop (kites, boards, bars, wetsuits, used gear), offers a kite repair service and organises kiteboarding trips, including a snowkiting experience.

Every day from 9 am to 6 pm (information and registration).
