deAction Beach Shop

deAction Beach Shop is the watersports centre of Brian Talma, the Barbadian windsurfer known as "deAction Man", on Silver Sands beach in the south of Barbados. The site combines a shop, a school and holiday apartments.

The spot has a flat-water lagoon for beginners and waves on the outer reef for experienced riders. The centre offers windsurfing lessons for beginners and kitesurfing lessons (a six-hour starter package, normally split into two or three sessions, with a team led by Tony "Corn" Lord), as well as surfing and stand-up paddling activities.

The shop rents Naish freeride boards and sails from 4.5 to 7.0 m, and rents and sells Naish kiteboarding gear. Kite rental requires a confident level 3 (able to keep upwind).
