School Presentation
Bonaire Windsurf Place is a windsurf and wing foil station at Sorobon on Lac Bay. It is run by three windsurfers who are former Antillean champions and Olympic representatives: Constantino Saragoza, Elvis Martinus and Roger Jurriens.
Lessons are given in groups of four or five at most, or as private or semi-private sessions focused on a specific skill (beach start, harness, jibes, water start). Professional freestyler Youp Schmit also coaches improvement sessions.
The rental fleet includes RRD boards (among them twin-fin Fire-ride models designed for the bay), Starboard boards and Hot Sails Maui sails. A small shop sells basics such as rash guards, sunscreen, gloves and board shorts.
