School Presentation

Kiterider Canada, also known as Sauble Beach Kitesurfing School, is a kite school based on Sauble Beach on Lake Huron, on the Bruce Peninsula. Founded in 2002, it presents itself as Ontario's original kiteboarding school.

The school is run by Daniel Medysky, a PASA and IKO certified instructor, and his son Sam, an Ozone team rider. Several other PASA or IKO certified instructors work with them. Lessons take place on the shallow, sandy flats of Sauble Beach and nearby Oliphant; water sessions are supported by one or more instructors on a jet ski.

The most popular course is the four-hour one-day beginner package: power kite control on the beach, inflatable kite handling, then water time. Kite gear and safety equipment are provided. The school also offers private hourly lessons, intermediate and advanced lessons, and a weekend kite camp.
