Kukulkite is a kitesurf school on Holbox Island, in the Mexican Caribbean off the north of the Yucatán Peninsula. The team is built around Verónica and Sergio, with more than six instructors of different nationalities teaching in six languages.
Lessons suit every level: a 2-hour discovery session, a 3-hour one-day course, and 6 or 9-hour programmes over two or three days, private, for two people or in a small group. The school also offers wing foil lessons and equipment rental for independent riders.
Two spots are used depending on the wind: Las Nubes (Kite Beach), seven minutes from town, with shallow water and a sandbar that are ideal for learning, and Punta Mosquito, reached by boat, choppier, with east to south-east winds or during northerly fronts. The school's office is in town.
