School Presentation
SURF44 is a surf school and club in Constanța on the Black Sea, founded by Bogdan Dan Staruiala, an ISA-accredited surf and SUP instructor and four-time Romanian shortboard champion (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022).
The website offers in-person surf lessons ("at the school") and online courses, surf camps, equipment rental (soft and hard boards, wetsuits, gloves, hoods and booties) and a shop selling surfskates, wetsuits, surfboards, bodyboards and accessories (pads, leashes, fins). A Constanța webcam lets you check sea conditions.

Rental prices shown on the website in Romanian lei (RON), summer (15 July - 30 October): soft board 50 lei per hour or 150 lei per day; hard board 70 lei per hour or 200 lei per day; 3/2 or 2/2 wetsuit 50 lei per hour or 150 lei per day; shorty 20 lei per hour or 60 lei per day. The winter season (December - April) includes a 5/4 wetsuit at 60 lei per hour or 180 lei per day. Rental and lessons: 0729 051 878.
