Kite Village Hamata is a kitesurf-focused holiday village on a lagoon on the Red Sea, in the south of Egypt. The kite station is a two-minute walk from the bungalows and five minutes from the tiny houses; accommodation consists of 50 bungalows and 32 tiny houses, with breakfast and dinner included.
The school is a VDWS school: certified instructors take students to their VDWS licence on site, in small groups on a large standing area with safe conditions. It also offers recent equipment rental, storage and a rescue service. Booking is required.
Marsa Alam airport is about 180 km away (two hours by road); transfers are available.
