SUP & SURF Nijmegen

SUP & SURF Nijmegen is a board-sports school on the Lentse Plas in Nijmegen, which says it brings the freedom of the beach to the city. It offers SUP, windsurfing, wingsurfing and wingfoiling, e-foiling and activities for groups, schools and children, plus three-day camps (windsurf and SUP, from age 9). It also works on other waters in the region: Kraaijenbergse Plassen, Mookerplas, Spiegelwaal and Ooijpolder, where the group meets around its bus.

For windsurfing, the beginner course is four 90-minute lessons in groups of up to four (from age 12), equipment and wetsuit included; you can also take group, private or advanced lessons, or rent gear. For wingsurf, the 90-minute private lesson is the first step before wingfoil, which swaps the board for a foil. The school also rents wingsurf, XXL SUP and e-foil equipment.
