Loops And Barrels Kitesurfschool (L.A.B.)

Loops And Barrels (L.A.B.) is an IKO-certified kitesurf school run by a small team, based at Rockanje on the second beach access, next to the Egbert aan Zee pavilion. The spot, sheltered by a sandbank, has often flat, shallow water and plenty of room, which makes starting easier. The school has a second base at 's-Gravenzande, in a container next to Beachclub Breeze (hot showers, locker rooms, lockers).

Lessons use a waterproof BB-Talkin headset linked to the instructor, in groups of no more than three, duo or private: 3-hour introduction, 3-day course (about 9 hours) or 5-day course (about 15 hours, to ride independently); the IKO certificate is handed over at the end. The school also offers coaching sessions, private lessons, gift cards, an online kitesurf shop and a kite repair service.
