Bureh Beach Surf Club is the surf school of Bureh Town, a village on the Freetown peninsula in Sierra Leone. It gives surf lessons to beginners and intermediate surfers every day, booked in advance by phone or social media.
The team are locals who grew up in Bureh Town and know the spot inside out. The club also rents surf gear and offers basic accommodation, spaces to pitch tents or hang hammocks, and food and drinks on request.
The club became well known in 2018 thanks to the surf film "Big Wata".
