Happy Kite Dahab

Happy Kite is a kitesurfing school located directly in the kite area of the Dahab lagoon, on the Gulf of Aqaba in South Sinai. The water is waist-deep and flat, which suits first lessons. The school is run by the Vetratoria team, whose windsurfing centre is five minutes away.

It offers IKO courses for beginner, intermediate and advanced kiters in Russian and English, with IKO certification. The class price includes the instructor, equipment, harness, insurance and a radio helmet that lets students hear the instructor's advice; wetsuits are also available. Independent kiters can rent RRD kites and boards or bring their own gear.

On site: chill-out areas, toilets, hot shower, lockers, drinks and Wi-Fi. In winter (December to February), the school advises a long 3-5 mm wetsuit.
