Kitesurfing Village Ras Sudr

Kitesurfing Village is a kitesurf centre in Ras Sudr, on the Gulf of Suez, inside a hotel that opens directly onto the lagoons. Its website, aimed mostly at Italian guests, describes three lagoons: a large natural lagoon with flat, shallow water (50 to 100 cm over 80% of the spot), two smaller but deeper ones, and a clear sea that stays shallow up to 400 m from shore, all over sand with no coral.

Wind blows on about 80% of days, averaging 17 to 18 knots. All lessons are private rather than in groups, with equipment included, and lead to a certification; coaching hour packages are also available.

The centre rents recent gear (Core kites, Core Fusion and Nobile boards, Flysurfer) and offers a repair service, a kite washing station, a compressor, hot showers, changing rooms and a wellness centre.
