School Presentation
Sunset Sessions is a mobile kitesurf school based in Amsterdam. Each day it picks the best spot for the wind, 24 to 48 hours before the session: the flat, standing-depth waters of the Markermeer and IJsselmeer for learning, or the North Sea beaches, usually around 45 minutes from Amsterdam.
The school is run by Stijn Dries, a level 3 certified instructor with more than twenty years of kitesurfing. Sessions last three hours with one or two students per instructor, always the same one, equipment included. The school only goes out in enough wind (at least 15 knots) and moves a lesson to another day for free if there is none.
It offers a trial lesson, single lessons, packages to become an independent rider, a two-day intensive weekend (up to six people), gift vouchers and, optionally, a van ride from Amsterdam.
