School Presentation
Surfing Nowe Guty is a windsurfing school on the beach at Nowe Guty, near Orzysz, on the shore of Lake Śniardwy, the largest lake in Poland. It has been running since 18 June 2014 and is led by windsurfing enthusiasts Wojtek and Ewelina Waszkiewicz.
The school offers tailor-made private windsurfing lessons and 10-hour group courses for five to seven people. It also teaches wingfoiling on Śniardwy, a large, flat and shallow lake, using stand-up paddle and windsurf boards to learn balance before moving on to the foil. Day camps for children are also on offer.
The centre rents windsurfing gear, with sails from 1 to 9 m² and Tabou, Starboard, Mistral and Guru boards with Ezzy rigs, as well as a motorboat and pedal boats. The site also has a Wibit inflatable water obstacle course and holiday-house accommodation; a live webcam shows the beach.
