Windsurfing Baku is Baku's windsurfing school, on the Caspian Sea within the grounds of the Ramada Baku hotel at Shikhov (Salyan highway), about 15 km from the city centre. It presents itself as the first school in the city to teach windsurfing and rent equipment.
The instructors say they can get beginners on the board within two to three hours, whatever their age or fitness. Courses are offered for every level, from first-timers to experienced windsurfers, and equipment can be rented.
The school is open from the end of April to the end of October, with daily sessions when the weather allows.
