The watersports centre of the Freizeitzentrum Xanten (FZX) is on the Xantener Südsee, a leisure lake on the Lower Rhine. Together with Beachline it offers a wide range of equipment, taster courses and group activities: windsurfing, wing and foil, stand up paddling.
Windsurf courses lead to the VDWS basic certificate (Grundschein), for ages 9 to 11 and for 12 and over, in three- to five-day courses in 2026. There are also exclusive windsurf, wing and foil and SUP courses, and holiday programmes for children, fully booked for all of 2026. Windsurf boards, SUPs, tandem SUPs and 10-person big SUPs can also be rented.

Rental: SUP 30 min EUR 9, surfboard 60 min EUR 15, tandem SUP 60 min EUR 30, 6-seat dragon board 60 min EUR 45, 10-seat big SUP 60 min EUR 75.
