Eastwind Surf & Kayakcenter

Eastwind Surf & Kayakcenter is one of Bornholm's main water sports centres. It was opened in 2009 by Jonas Bagger Sørensen, who has international water sports experience, and today presents itself as the island's largest water sports centre. It is on Balka beach, south of Nexø, and also runs Havkajak Bornholm, which organises sea kayak trips around the island.

The centre teaches windsurfing (beginner, intro and advanced courses), kitesurfing (beginner, private and advanced courses), stand-up paddle (guided tours from Balka and Sandvig beaches) and kayaking, and rents windsurf, paddle and kayak equipment. Kitesurf lessons take place at Balka or Dueodde depending on the wind. It also organises events for companies, schools and groups of more than six people.
