Long Line Surf School

Long Line Surf School, established in 2012, teaches surfing and stand up paddleboarding on the Causeway Coast in the Binevenagh Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Northern Ireland. The school is WSA (Water Skills Academy) accredited: its lessons are audited every year for safety, equipment and service.

Surfing takes place on Benone Strand, seven miles of sand; the meeting point is the school's cabin on the boardwalk to the left of the Benone Tourist Complex. The 90-minute lessons are open from age 8 (from age 6 with a non-surfing adult in the water), with groups of one instructor to eight pupils at most, and all equipment, including winter wetsuits all year, is provided. The school also offers kids' lessons, private lessons, surf hire, school groups and clubs, as well as stand up paddleboard sessions on the River Roe from Swanns Bridge Glamping at the foot of the Binevenagh mountains.
