Surfschule Willibald

Surfschule Willibald is a mobile wing foil and kitesurf school on Wörthersee in Carinthia. The instructor, Armin Wucherer, is based in Krumpendorf and is a VÖWS member; the school goes wherever the wind blows.

Lessons are one-to-one, with the instructor in constant contact with the student through waterproof headsets. The website explains that Wörthersee offers good conditions mainly in spring and early summer, with an average of 2 to 3 foilable days a week, and that the wind eases from August, so sessions are scheduled according to the wind.

The school also offers equipment hire and kitesurf coaching, by appointment.
