School Presentation

Loch Insh Outdoor Centre is a family-run activity centre on the shore of Loch Insh at Kincraig in the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland. It was founded in 1969 by Clive Freshwater, who bought the beach at the loch to start a canoeing and sailing school, and is now run by his family.

Windsurfing follows the RYA scheme, from Stage 1 (sailing the board across the wind and back) to the advanced courses of the national scheme, with progression courses for learning the waterstart and carve gybe (minimum age 8, maximum 12 places, 6:1 ratio). The Team15 youth club, the Loch Insh Monsters, meets on Saturday afternoons from April to October. All equipment, including wetsuit and boots, is provided.

The centre also offers sailing, stand up paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, pedalos, rowing, river trips, skiing and snowboarding, a restaurant and accommodation.
