Blue Spirit Ebeltoft

Blue Spirit is a water sports school and surf shop in Ebeltoft, on the shore of Ebeltoft Vig bay on the Djursland peninsula, about thirty minutes from Aarhus. It is the brand's main base, which also runs a wave surfing school in Hvide Sande; the sheltered bay suits beginners.

You can learn windsurfing (from age 8), wing foiling ("Denmark's largest wingfoil setup", according to the website, from beginner to advanced), kitesurfing, paddle and kayaking (from age 6), in small groups with experienced instructors. The centre also offers parasurfing, corporate events, school trips and surf camps.

The on-site shop and café let you test equipment and ask for advice; rental covers windsurf, wing, kite, paddle and kayak gear, in standard or premium range (Duotone, Core, NeilPryde, JP Australia), from 150 DKK. The centre has changing rooms, showers, a rigging area and free parking.
