New Wave Surf School

New Wave Surf School has been providing surf lessons and equipment hire since 2007 on the Moray coast of Scotland, from several beaches including Lossiemouth, Sandend, Cullen, Hopeman and Roseisle. It now operates mostly from Lossiemouth East Beach, where it has a surf hut with changing rooms and a board store.

Group surf lessons suit complete beginners and those wanting to improve, from age 8. Stand up paddleboard lessons run from the Lossiemouth estuary at high tide; participants must be able to swim 50m, and under-18s must be accompanied by an adult. The school also runs kids' surf camps and surf-skate training.

Hire: surfboards £10 for a half day, 5mm wetsuits £10 for a half day (boots, gloves and hood included if needed), inflatable SUPs £25 for a half day and £40 for a full day.
