School Presentation

Twind Oy is a Finnish family business specialised in windsurfing. It imports and sells windsurf, SUP and wing equipment (boards, sails, masts, booms, wetsuits, helmets and vests), with an online shop and an office in Espoo. For practice, it runs a windsurfing school and rental service in Hanko.

Rental and lessons take place mainly around Camping Silversand, on Silversand beach, and at other beaches on the coast depending on conditions. The beginner windsurfing course lasts 2 hours: handling equipment ashore, safety information, wind and forecasts, getting going and turning, then independent practice; it is limited to three people. The rental service offers beginner boards (Unifiber Rookie 225, Exocet Link L, Windsurfer LT), a Starboard Go kids' board, more advanced freeride boards (Exocet Nano V3) and sails from 2.5 to 7.3 m², as well as beginner wingfoil gear and SUPs.

Booking is done by contacting the team before arrival; rental depends on the weather.
