Freedom Surf School

Freedom Surf School is a surf school in Tramore, County Waterford, set in a lane a stone's throw from the beach. Its website highlights 35 years of surfing experience and a 2023 award as one of Europe's top surf schools.

It offers lessons for adults, teens, families and groups (up to 180 people), camps, school tours and Irish-language programmes, as well as stand-up paddle, bodyboarding, coastal walks and Waterford Greenway cycle-and-surf outings. Instructors are Garda vetted and trained in child protection.

Facilities include activity rooms, changing rooms, hot showers, an equipment hire station and a café with indoor and outdoor seating.
